Al Ahli defeats AlQadisiyah 5-1 to reach Super Cup final

Al Ahli first football team defeated AlQadisiyah 5-1 in Hong Kong to book their spot in the Saudi Super Cup final, where they'll face AlNassr in a massive Clasico game.

Things started badly when AlQadisiyah took the lead after just 8 minutes, but Al Ahli quickly turned it around. Frank Kessié equalized four minutes later, then Ivan Toney slotted home a penalty on 27 minutes.

Riyad Mahrez delivered a gorgeous cross for Milot to head home the third, then Kessié grabbed his second just before halftime - again from a brilliant Mahrez assist - to make it 4-1 at the break.

Al Ahli kept piling on the pressure in the second half and got their fifth when an unlucky AlQadisiyah defender deflected Galeno's shot into his own net on 62 minutes.

Al Ahli qualified for Saturday's final versus AlNassr on August 23rd.
