Al Ahli Overcomes Al-Shabab with Five and Reaches Point 50

Al Ahli’s first football team defeated hosts Al-Shabab 5–2 in their match in Round 22 of the Saudi Pro League, held at Al-Shabab Club Stadium.

Al Ahli started strongly, scoring three consecutive goals. Rayan Hamed opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Franck Kessié adding the second in the 20th, and Riyad Mahrez netting the third in the 25th minute. Al-Shabab narrowed the gap in the 33rd minute, but their joy was short-lived as Enzo Millot scored Al Ahli’s fourth just a minute later. Before the end of the first half, Al-Shabab scored a second goal in the 44th minute.

In the second half, Al Ahli maintained their attacking momentum, with English striker Ivan Toney converting a penalty in the 82nd minute to seal the 5–2 victory. With this win, Al Ahli’s tally rises to 50 points.
