Artem Bondarenko is an Al Ahli player
Al Ahli Club Company has announced the signing of Ukrainian midfielder Artem Bondarenko from Shakhtar Donetsk, with the agreement running until 2029, as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
The deal sees Bondarenko join Al Ahli on a one-year loan with an obligation to buy, marking a new chapter in his career after his time with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Al Ahli Club Company welcomed Bondarenko to the club, wishing him every success during his time with the team and hoping he can contribute to achieving the club’s ambitions and meeting the expectations of its supporters in the period ahead.
Throughout his professional career, Bondarenko has won five trophies, all with Shakhtar Donetsk. He has also made 137 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League, scoring 38 goals and providing 24 assists, in addition to featuring in 20 UEFA Champions League matches. He now begins a new chapter with Al Ahli, bringing valuable experience and new ambitions as he looks to add more achievements to his career.
Bondarenko expressed his happiness at joining Al Ahli, saying the club is one of the biggest in the region, with a huge fan base and a proud history as Asian champions.
