Artem Bondarenko is an Al Ahli player

Al Ahli Club Company has announced the signing of Ukrainian midfielder Artem Bondarenko from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk on a three-year contract, as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

Al Ahli Club Company welcomed Bondarenko to the team, wishing him every success during his time with the club and hoping he can play his part in achieving the club’s ambitions and meeting the expectations of its supporters in the coming period.

Bondarenko, meanwhile, expressed his delight at joining Al Ahli, describing the club as one of the biggest in the region, with a huge fan base and a proud history as Asian champions.

Artem said: “I’m very happy to wear the Al Ahli shirt. It’s an honour to join such a big club and Asian champion. I’m looking forward to giving my best, working alongside my teammates to achieve more success, and bringing happiness to the club’s fans”.
