Al Ahli Secure 3-1 Win Over Al Hazem

Al Ahli secured a well-deserved 3-1 victory over Al Hazem in their Saudi Pro League Round 7 fixture at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.

Al Ahli started the game on the front foot and took the lead in the 21st minute through Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão. Striker Ivan Toney then doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.

Toney struck again just before half-time, scoring his second of the night and Al Ahli’s third in the 45th minute, sending the team into the break with a commanding three-goal advantage.

Al Ahli maintained control of the game after the restart, while Al Hazem managed to pull one back with a consolation goal. The match ultimately ended with Al Ahli claiming a 3-1 victory.

Al Ahli will now turn their attention to the AFC Champions League Elite, with the team set to face Uzbek side Pakhtakor on Monday in their opening fixture of the competition at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
