Francisco Trincão is an Al Ahli player
Al Ahli Club has officially announced the signing of Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão from Sporting Lisbon on a four year contract, in a move that reflects the club’s strategy to strengthen the first team with quality and experience, in line with its ambition to compete for all titles in the coming phase.
The signing reflects the club’s confidence in Trincão’s quality, European experience, and the fact that he is a versatile winger who can play in several offensive positions, very strong technically and a decisive player, which are expected to add significant value to the squad. Al Ahli wished Trincão every success and expressed confidence that he will play an important role in helping the team achieve its ambitions.
Trincão expressed his happiness at joining Al Ahli, describing the move as an important step in his professional career. He said:

Francisco Trincão’s career includes notable spells across European football, having represented Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Sporting Braga, gaining experience in the Portuguese, Spanish, and English leagues.
Over the course of his career, he has made 327 official appearances, scoring 62 goals and providing 57 assists, figures that highlight his attacking impact and consistent contribution on the pitch.
Trincão also boasts an impressive list of achievements at both domestic and international levels. He won the UEFA Nations League (2024-2025), secured back to back Portuguese league titles (2023-2024 and 2024-2025), lifted the Portuguese Cup (2024-2025), and previously won the Copa del Rey (2020-2021), as well as the Portuguese League Cup (2019-2020).
Individually, he topped the assists chart in the Portuguese league during the (2025-2026) season, confirming his status as one of Europe’s standout playmakers.
