Al Ahli defeats Al Ittihad 3–1 in the Jeddah Derby

Al Ahli won 3–1 over Al Ittihad in the Jeddah Derby, played at Alinma Stadium as part of Round 25 of the Saudi Roshn League.

Al Ahli began the match looking to impose their style of play and created several early attacking opportunities. Their pressure paid off in the 23rd minute, when Ivan Toney opened the scoring after meeting a pass from Wenderson Galeno, giving Al Ahli a 1–0 lead at halftime.

Al Ittihad equalized from the penalty spot in the 51st minute, but Al Ahli quickly regained the lead when Riyad Mahrez scored in the 59th minute. Feras Al-Brikan then sealed the win with a third goal in the 84th minute.

With this result, Al Ahli move up to 62 points in the league standings, as the team now turns its focus to preparing for the upcoming fixtures.
