Joud Wins Saudi Arabia's First Asian U21 Karate Medal

Saudi Arabia celebrated a historic moment in karate as Al Ahli Club’s Joud Ismail Mayajaan became the country's first athlete to medal in Asian Under-21 competition.

Mayajaan clinched bronze in the under-50kg category, defeating her Kazakhstani opponent 6-5 at the Asian Cadet, Junior & U21 Karate Championships in China.

The victory highlights Al-Ahli Club's growing investment in developing athletes across multiple sports. For Mayajaan, it is just the beginning.
"This medal motivates me to keep pushing for more achievements for Saudi Arabia and Al-Ahli," she said after her historic win.
