Al-Ahli Names Amir Tawfik as Chief Commercial Officer 

Al-Ahli Club Company has announced the appointment of Amir Tawfik as Chief Commercial Officer as part of its strategy to develop commercial operations, boost revenue streams, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

In his new role, Tawfik will oversee all of the club's commercial affairs, including sponsorships, partnerships, marketing rights, commercial assets, and revenue-generating events. The appointment aims to enhance the brand's marketing value and establish financial sustainability.

Tawfik brings extensive professional experience from the sports industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Egyptian Al-Ahly Football Club Company until July 2025, where he previously managed marketing and contracts. During his career, he contributed to doubling commercial returns and enhancing the brand's marketing value. He successfully negotiated and renewed strategic partnerships with companies like Sela, Presentation, and United Media Services, while securing international sponsors including Adidas, Panini, FIFA Collect, Red Bull, and Ernst & Young (EY). Tawfik also contributed to the club's international expansion by overseeing the establishment of Egyptian Al-Ahly academies in the UAE, Canada, and the United States.

Academically, Tawfik holds a FIFA/CIES diploma in Sports Management and is currently participating in FIFA's Club Management diploma program, an international course that includes elite club owners, executives, and international players.

Al-Ahli Club Company emphasized that this appointment extends its approach of recruiting specialized talent, achieving sustainable growth, and enhancing the club's leadership position across all levels.
