Al-Ahli Heads to Europe for Summer Camp Ahead of 2025–2026 Season

As part of their preparations for the 2025–2026 campaign, Al-Ahli’s first team will embark on a summer training camp across three European destinations — Austria, Italy, and Spain — designed to boost fitness levels, sharpen technical skills, and foster team chemistry ahead of the new season.

The camp kicks off on July 7 in Längenfeld, Austria, where the squad will undergo intensive daily sessions under the guidance of head coach Matthias Jaissle. The Austrian camp includes a friendly game on July 18 against local side WSG Tirol.

From there, Al-Ahli travels to Como, Italy, from July 22–28 to take part in the Como Cup, a pre-season tournament featuring Ajax (Netherlands), Celtic (Scotland), Como (Italy), and Al-Ahli. The team opens the tournament against hosts Como on July 23, with a second fixture scheduled for either July 26 or 27, depending on results.

The final stage of the camp takes place in La Manga, Spain, from July 28 to August 5, where the squad will play two more friendlies: the first against Spanish club Elche on August 1, and the second against UAE's Al Ain on August 5, before returning home to complete preparations for the start of the season.

Al-Ahli’s summer camp marks a crucial step in the team’s preparations for the upcoming season, with the coaching staff focused on maximizing fitness levels, strengthening bonds among players, and achieving peak technical and physical readiness. The program aims to position the squad for both domestic and international competitions, and meet the expectations of Al-Ahli Club Company and the ambitions of Al-Ahli devoted fan base.
