Al Ahli Beats Al Gharafa 4-0 and Sets Sole Record for Longest Unbeaten Run

Al Ahli's first team delivered a dominant 4-0 victory over Qatari side Al Gharafa in their third game of the 2025/2026 AFC Champions League Elite league phase at Al Inmaa Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, bringing their points total to seven from three games.

Enzo Millot opened the scoring in the 32nd minute before Franck Kessié struck twice in the 38th and 41st minutes. Saleh Abu Al Shamat wrapped up the win with a goal in the 76th minute. Al Ahli's dominance was on full display as they netted three times in just nine first-half minutes to effectively seal the result.

The victory sees Al Ahli now stand alone with the longest unbeaten streak in the competition's history at 21 games, spanning from 2021 to 2025. They have surpassed the previous record of 20 games that was shared by Ulsan Hyundai (2020-2021) and Al Hilal (2006-2010), recording 16 wins during their remarkable run.

Last season, Al Ahli made history by becoming the first club to win the AFC Champions League Elite title in its new format, going the entire campaign undefeated with 12 wins and a single draw.

The team will now continue their preparations for upcoming fixtures following the technical program set by the coaching and administrative staff.
