Al Ahli and Al-Shabab Draw in Roshn League Round Five

Al-Ahli’s first team match with Al-Shabab ended in a 1-1 tie on Friday evening at Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, in the fifth round of the Roshn Saudi League.

Ivan Toney opened the scoring for Al Ahli in the 15th minute from the penalty spot, but Al-Shabab struck back late, equalizing in the 87th minute.

The result lifts Al Ahli’s tally to nine points in the league table, as the team shifts focus to their upcoming Asian fixture.

Al Ahli now prepares to face Al-Gharafa of Qatar on Monday in the AFC Champions League Elite, where they will look to secure three points and continue their continental campaign with confidence.
