Spertsyan Strikes as Al Ahli Secure Three Points

Al Ahli’s first team kicked off their 2026–27 league campaign with an important 1–0 away win over Al Diriyah in the opening round of the competition.

Eduard Spertsyan scored the only goal of the match in the 24th minute, capitalizing on an opportunity to put Al Ahli ahead early on. The team held on to their lead until the final whistle.

Al Ahli showed good organization both defensively and offensively and managed the game well. The defense and goalkeeper also kept a clean sheet, securing Al Ahli’s first three points of the new season.
