Serbian Coach Goran Dzokic Appointed Al Ahli Handball Head Coach Until 2027

Al Ahli Club Company has officially finalized the signing of Serbian coach Goran Dzokic as head coach of the first handball team, on a contract running through 2027.

This appointment comes as part of the club’s ongoing efforts to strengthen technical stability and attract high-caliber coaches with strong records of success, in line with the ambitions of Al Ahli fans and the club’s stature.

Dzokic brings extensive experience in Gulf and Asian handball, with an impressive haul of titles and achievements that make him a major asset to the technical staff.

He has led his previous teams to multiple championships, including four Amir Cups in Qatar and three league titles. His success extends to the continental and international stage as well, having guided the Qatar national team to the Asian Handball Championship title and the gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games (2022–2023).
