Al Ahli defeats Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League Elite and holds the longest unbeaten run

Al Ahli’s first team defeated Qatar’s Al-Sadd 2–1 on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha in Round 4 of the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Elite.

Riyad Mahrez put Al Ahli ahead in the 34th minute, Al-Sadd equalized in the 63rd, and Matheus Gonçalves hit the winner in the 68th.

The result extends Al Ahli’s tournament record unbeaten run to 22 games (2021–2025) and lifts them to 10 points as they continue preparations for the next fixtures under the approved coaching program.
