Al Ahli bolsters volleyball squad with 3 new signings and extends captain's contract

Al Ahli Club Company has finalized deals with three new players—Dawid Konarski, João Rafael, and Mishari Al-Qurashi—for the first volleyball team, while also extending captain Yousef Abouof’s contract. These moves are part of the club's strategy to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.

Dawid Konarski joins as an opposite hitter from Al Nassr, João Rafael arrives as an outside hitter from Kuwait Club, and Mishari Al-Qurashi, also an outside hitter, transfers from Al Ittihad. All three have signed one-year contracts.

Moreover, the club has extended captain Yousef Abouof’s contract for two more years through 2027. The middle blocker has been with Al Ahli since 2007.

These signings aim to deepen the squad's roster and provide the coaching staff with more tactical options both offensively and defensively, positioning the team to compete for titles across all upcoming tournaments.
