AlAhli U21 Team Concludes Preparatory Camp in Turkey

AlAhli’s U21 football team has wrapped up its preparatory camp in Turkey after playing four friendly matches aimed at improving the players’ technical and physical readiness, while also giving the coaching staff an opportunity to assess the squad’s levels ahead of the upcoming competitions.

AlAhli began its friendly campaign with a deserved 3-1 victory over Belgian side Eendracht Houthalen. Abdullah Al-Dosari opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, before Murad Al-Malki doubled the lead in the 57th minute. Mohammed Al-Malki completed the team’s three-goal tally with a strike in the 81st minute.

In their second friendly, the team continued its strong performances with a convincing 6-1 win over Turkish U19 side Izmit. Mohammed Al-Nakhli starred by scoring a hat-trick in the 15th, 52nd, and 67th minutes, while Anas Ghareeb added another goal in the 28th minute, followed by Yousif Mallawi in the 45th minute. Ibrahim Azzam rounded off the scoring with Al Ahli’s sixth goal in the 82nd minute.

AlAhli suffered a 2-1 defeat against Qatari side Al Khor in the third match, with Abdullah Al-Dosari scoring the team’s only goal of the game.

The team concluded its camp with a 1-1 draw against Qatari club Al Waab in a match that provided valuable technical insights for the coaching staff, who focused on giving playing time to the largest possible number of players while assessing their readiness ahead of the upcoming challenges.
