Al Ahli extend Turkish defender Merih Demiral’s contract until 2029

Al Ahli Club Company has agreed a deal with Turkish international defender Merih Demiral to extend his contract with the first team until 2029.

Demiral is considered one of the team’s key players, having earned the full trust of the coaching staff and the fans through his consistently strong performances. He has played a major role, alongside his teammates, in winning both the AFC Champions League Elite title and the Saudi Super Cup.

The club company stated that renewing Demiral’s contract through 2029 is part of its strategy to strengthen squad stability and retain players of high technical quality who can help the club and its supporters achieve their ambitions in domestic and continental competitions.
