Al Ahli Defeats Al-Nassr 3–2, Reigniting the League Race

Al Ahli FC pulled off a thrilling 3–2 win over Al-Nassr in Round 13 of the Saudi Pro League at Alinma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah.

Al Ahli began strongly, with English striker Ivan Toney opening the scoring in the 7th minute and adding a second in the 20th to underline Al Ahli’s dominance early on. Al-Nassr quickly responded, pulling one back in the 31st minute and equalizing just before halftime in the 44th.

After the break, Al Ahli continued to press forward and found the winner in the 55th minute through Turkish defender Demiral, who finished off a fine assist from Toney to seal all three points.

The result handed Al-Nassr their first defeat of the season and lifted Al Ahli to fourth place in the standings with 25 points.
