Al-Ahli Advances to AFC Champions League Quarter-Finals

Al-Ahli secured their place in the AFC Champions League Elite quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Qatar’s Al-Rayyan in the second leg of the Round of 16, sealing a dominant 5-1 aggregate win.

Riyad Mahrez put Al-Ahli ahead in the 77th minute with a brilliant finish over goalkeeper Victor after a precise through ball from Galeno. He then doubled their lead in the 83rd minute.

Al-Ahli’s impressive form in the tournament continued, extending their unbeaten streak to ten games, including nine wins.
