Al Ahli beats Al Khaleej 4-1 to reach 37 points

Al Ahli First Football Team won 4-1 over Al Khaleej in Round 17 of the Saudi Pro League, in the game played at Alinma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah.

Al Khaleej opened the scoring in the 19th minute, but Al Ahli came out with a completely different approach after the break, raising the tempo, pressing high, and relying on quick short passes to disrupt Al Khaleej’s defense.

English striker Ivan Toney was the standout performer in the second half, scoring three goals in the 59th, 67th, and 79th minutes, before Rayan Hamed added the fourth goal in the 86th minute.

With this victory, Al Ahli moves up to 37 points.
