Back-to-Back Champions: Al-Ahli Women Win the SAFF Women's Cup Again
Al-Ahli Women’s football team clinched the SAFF Women’s Cup for the second year in a row, defeating Al-Qadsiah 2-1 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
Naomie Kabakaba put Al-Ahli ahead in the first half, and captain Ibtissam Jraidi sealed the win with a second-half goal.
Deputy Minister of Sports Badr Al-Kadi, SAFF President Yasser Al-Misehal, Assistant Minister of Sports Adwa Al-Arifi, and SAFF Vice President Lamia Bahaian presented the team with the championship trophy and gold medals.
Moroccan footballer Ibtissam Jraidi secured the tournament’s top scorer title for the second time with nine goals, while her teammate Naomie Kabakaba was named the tournament’s best player.
