Al Ahli wins Saudi Super Cup 2025-2026

Al Ahli Club is the Saudi Super Cup champion after beating AlNassr 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in Hong Kong.

The tournament ran from August 19-23, ending with both Saudi clubs facing off for the title.

AlNassr took the lead from the penalty spot in the 41st minute, but Al Ahli struck back right before halftime when Ivorian Frank Kessié leveled things up in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

AlNassr looked to have won it when they scored again in the 82nd minute, but Al Ahli had other ideas. Roger Ibañez powered home a brilliant header from a Riyad Mahrez corner to force penalties with just minutes remaining.

Al Ahli kept their cool when it mattered most. Ivan Toney, Riyad Mahrez, Frank Kessié, Feras Al-Brikan, and Galeno all scored their penalties to take the shootout 5-3.

It's another major trophy for Al Ahli, with the Asian champions adding to their list of titles.
