Al Ahli defeats Al Taawoun to reach 31 points

Al Ahli claimed a vital 2–1 win over Al Taawoun in Round 15 of the Roshn Saudi League at Al Inmaa Stadium in Jeddah.

Al Taawoun struck late in the first half to take the lead, but Al Ahli came out with much more intensity after the break. Zakaria Hawsawi brought the team level in the 62nd minute after sustained pressure and control in midfield.

The pressure paid off in stoppage time when England striker Ivan Toney calmly converted a penalty to secure all three points.

Even after Roger Ibañez was sent off for a second yellow card in the 82nd minute, Al Ahli stayed organized and focused to protect their lead until the final whistle.

The win takes Al Ahli to 31 points, placing them fourth in the league standings as they continue their push toward the top spots.
