Al Ahli and My Clinic Sign Five Year Strategic Medical Partnership
Al Ahli Club Company and My Clinic have signed a five-year strategic medical partnership to advance the club’s healthcare and sports medicine systems. The signing was attended by Al Ahli CEO Fabrice Bocquet and CCO Amir Tawfik, alongside My Clinic Medical Director Dr. Asim Al-Shanbari and COO Eng. Hisham Abdulwahab. The partnership will provide comprehensive medical services to Al Ahli players and staff.
Under the agreement, My Clinic will provide medical and healthcare services to the club’s players and personnel, while contributing to the development of medical infrastructure across Al Ahli’s facilities in line with the club’s needs and the evolving requirements of modern sports medicine and healthcare.
The partnership includes the establishment and operation of an integrated medical unit within the club’s facilities, offering diagnostic and medical imaging services alongside a range of specialist clinics to meet the healthcare needs of players and club personnel.
The agreement also provides for the establishment of a dedicated Sports Medicine Center of Excellence at the club’s headquarters. The initiative aims to enhance the standard of medical services available to Al Ahli players and advance assessment, prevention, diagnosis, and ongoing monitoring.
To strengthen medical safety during competitions, My Clinic will provide ambulance services, medical teams, and paramedics for Al Ahli’s home matches. This will support emergency response readiness and reinforce medical safety and healthcare provision at the stadium.
In terms of fan engagement, the two parties will collaborate on marketing initiatives and interactive activations at the stadium, alongside joint programs designed to strengthen engagement with Al Ahli fans and expand community outreach.
The partnership also creates opportunities for further marketing collaboration through the development of targeted initiatives that leverage Al Ahli’s strong fan base and My Clinic’s expertise. These efforts aim to build sustainable commercial value and strengthen the presence of both brands across the sports and healthcare sectors.
The agreement reflects Al Ahli and My Clinic’s shared commitment to building a long term partnership that combines the club’s needs in advancing its medical infrastructure with My Clinic’s expertise in specialized healthcare. It also marks a joint step toward supporting the development of sports medicine in Saudi Arabia and the wider region through enhanced medical services and facilities, knowledge exchange, and sustainable healthcare tailored to the needs of players and club personnel.
